Welcome to my world of colour

My art journey reflects both where I live and where I have travelled. I revel in capturing the many moods of the Australian landscape. Early influences were the paintings of Arthur Streeton and the Heidleberg School of artists. Streeton's ability to capture the grandeur of the Australian landscape has continued to inspire me. In recent years, I have been energised by the texture and light of France, depicting that country in a more impressionistic manner.

My work has been awarded prizes on many occasions. In 1995, I received the first prize for my traditional painting 'Overlooking Lake Macquarie from Arcadia Vale' in the Mattara Society of Artist's Exhibition.
