Towards the end of the 1980s, I was producing a series of acrylic cameos of intricately detailed Victorian buildings and sunsets over Lake Macquarie. After attending a workshop with Judith White, I extended my repertoire into the mediums of pastel, water colour and gouache; sometimes incorporating all three in one work. Throughout this period I continued to produce a series of award winning oil paintings.
